Eye Of The Tiger‏ June 24, 2013

Well you already know what it is.. (: HOW ARE YOU.. Hopefully this letter finds you all happy and just flat out enjoyin life. I pray for your peace and comfort and well being everyday, I know The Spirit Of Our Lord and his angels are with us 24 hours everyday.. I am so grateful for his protection and comfort. I am so blessed to have all of you and your love and support, it is my fuel that powers me through these brain hazy humid days.. I am so blessed to be able to know I have all you by my side.. And whenever I am feelin down I just think back in my life all the memories and what is layin ahead for me.. I am truly blessed

Well the bigger the bill, the harder you ball (: The harder it gets the harder you go, then the blessings fall and fall(: O boy I have been learnin, I know all of it is part of the mission the lord prepared for me. I remember a phrase that I have heard a few people say.. And I remember Coach Rasmussen tell me directly one time in the locker room when we played against Morgan.. I remember he came up to me and said DO YOUR JOB, and everything else will fall around you.. we kicked there trash and that is still the funnest game I remember playin my senior year.. anyway gettin weird with a uncle rico flash back.. I have learned to do what I know best. I have learned to put every bit of trust in the lord. We have been doin our part. The children of god are still workin on doin there part.. It is hard to understand how we are teachin the truth but its still harder than anything to bring people unto christ.. Salvation never was a cheap experience tho I do believe.. I am so blessed tho to be here.. Just gotta open up those eyes and get to work (: And everything else will take care of itself.. 

Well it is crazy huh how fast the time is passin.. I sure hope all is well at home.. I miss you all more than you can imagine.. Cool to think this time next year, I will be home! Ha it is crazy but it is comin in hotter than College Football on a Saturday night.. Hot.. Just sayin.. Utah Utes comin in hot this year,, Gonna go head and predict that.. Under dogs gonna do work this year,, Well, I dont have to much new to report here.. I watched a lil of the Brazil Mexico Soccer game haah Brazil beat em.. They are my pick for 2014..

Just wanna say Happy Fathers Day again to the best Fajah on Planet Earth, thanks for your example and all the hard work you put in for all of us dad, I love ya. 

Well yupp yupper(: Another week has come and gone.. Amazing how they all pass by so fast, I honestly never thought time could pass by so fast. This life is surely such a short time.. That's why we gotta make everyday what it is meant to be, and thats nothin but pure happiness. "Come what may and love it." It has been harder for me than it has been in the whole mish lately in the aspect of tryin to find people and baptize. I have learned its not about that. We needa trust in the lord, EVERYTHING is in his time, there is time and purpose to everything in this life.. I have learned to just throw a cheeser on my face and make the day greater than I can imagine it being. It is such a blessing to wake up breathe and walk these dusty streets and learn. Even if its hotter than a fresh baked tater tot you just gotta giddy up and go(: 

I have been learnin a lot about myself in general here, I am so very grateful for the people I meet and for what I am able to learn. I know that the lord is with me in every single moment and every place that I go.. I just am gonna keep on pushin every second of everyday, I am so very grateful for your love and prayers. You may not even realize it but you help me more than you even know.. I am blesed to have all of ya in my life and I can't wait till we see each other again. 

Well this past week we received a phone call from a member sayin that there was someone waitin in the church and wanted to talk with us.. His name is Manuel, he is 20 years old and he ahd a question about the trnindad or the trinity and the godhead and how he wanted to know which church was true. We taught him about Joseph Smith and we inveted him to pray.. We are goin to visit him today.. If he doesn't get baptized well I guess we will see. We are jsut gonna do our part and teach! But it was really awesome I felt the spirit when we received the call.. I am pretty anxious to see how it all works out.. We are still workin hard with this family.. The husband was in church this past sunday so we will see!

What a Life(: June 10, 2013

Well here we are again.. Another week has come and gone! Time is insane!! I just want you all to nkow to how grateful I am for each and everyone of you, for all of your support and all of your thoughts and prayers. This week was a fast one for sure.. We had transfers to today but nothin new.. Me and my comp are stayin here, another six weeks! I am alright with that tho! I am sorry if this letter doesnt make to much sense I have a flippin cold and I am feelin goofy and loco from the pills hahah(: But well. guess I will get started with the updates(:

This week we had a ton of lections.. And we had divisions for a day.. I went on divisions with an Elder from Richfield haha.. We ate some Habañero peppers and holy crap I honestly thought that somethin wasnt gonna work right in my body after hahaah it was so hot it hurt to blink haah.. I got some sweet video footage thats all Im sayin..

I have learned so much here in the mission.. Most important I have learned to put all of my trust in the lord.. I know that whatever we need he will help us.. I know that he wants us to get back to him. I know that he loves us. I have felt that, everyday of my life. I have been prayin more than I ever have in my life.. I am grateful for everything that has led me to this point. I am sorry this letter is so short.. I just hope you all know how much I love you.. Thanks for all you are doin. Well another week is gonna come and go.. My next letter will be more interesting(:

Interesting Week(: JUNE 3, 2013

Well you bet, here we are in Junio folks! I cannot believe how fast the time is passing us by, but yup we all know that is cruises.. This week was really saweet.. I got to witness some serious power getting weird comin off the Pacific Ocean.. ¡Puro Poder! It was insane!  Tonalà and Arriaga up to Oaxaca's Puerto Angel got hit the worst.. It was incredible, to be living inside of it haha. Made me realize how weak we are honestly.... It was crazy watching the buses and cars driving through the water.. Really different. We helped a lot of people clean up and yup we be doin work todavìa! The people say that the tropical storms pass through here or hurricanes very often, so I'm sure we will be having plenty of water, I was happy tho cause it felt pretty good after it had been raining all week the weather wasn't straight humid and hot it was a bit cool(:.. Crazy crazy how different the world is everywhere you go. We had some sweet critters rounded up in our house after Barbara swept through to. A ton of little lizards and dos Scorpions.. Very crazy! But we had dinner. (:

Honestly I learned a ton this week so it was good.. I am just grateful that I am safe and that nothin happened. Pretty blessed to have my family and friends, know I'm prayin for you all just as you are for me. Get it right!

I am sure missing the good ol Summer days, straight up working hard and playing hard(:  Miss it.. Enjoy it extra for me and I will enjoy this water! This week I learned again that even we you do all you can in the mish, It has to be the perfect timing. The will of Lord, He knows when it is time. We are learnin alot here in Tonalà, but we are working tough to find those lost sheep! I am just lovin every minute. The days are full of life lessons and awesome memories. Wish I had a video camera every minute, it is just really beautiful everything that happens.. Most of the time. 

Well I am just proud and so very grateful for all of you.. I miss you more than anything. This time in one year, I will have 2 weeks left! Pretty crazy(: Just going to enjoy this next bit! I am feeling good and ready for whatever I need to experience, I know we are being watched over by the lord 24/7. He is blessing us. I am so grateful for all you are doin for me! Stay happy and keep goin.. I will do the same thing, you can count on that. I love you!

Well i dono if you heard but Chiapas got thumped by a hurricane! I Just didn't want you guys worryin we are all well! It was crazy and we are helping tons of people clean up.  They werent ready at all for it but all is well.. Lots of memories and stories haha.. Well I am fine and just wishing I was dry but it aint gonna happen any time soon!   I will send ya pics soon.. love you!

Well hello there My Loving Family and Friends(: Another quick week has passed.. Pretty crazy how fast the time passes us by. I hope this letter finds you all well and livin the life the way it should be lived(: I can't wait to be with you again, it will be soon! This week here in Tonalà has been a cloudy humid rainy deal.  I straight up poured yesterday and it's been on and off rainin today. I jsut makes everything way humid but hey just gotta smile and enjoy it while I have it haaha.. I dont know if I have respect or what for the people that call this place home, pretty different the weather that's for sure.. But it's been nice to not have the beamin sun for a change.. This week to I got my package mom! Thanks so very much for all that you do for me.. It sure made my week everything is awesome!! I about cried when I saw the fruit by the foot.. There gone. Thanks to everyone that helped put that together and get it shipped to ol Chiapas.. (:

 

Well this week was a good one! I think this week I have been the most tired I have ever been on my mish.. We've been workin so hard to find the people that are ready to receive this message. I need my ZZZZZ's right now.. But I know that I will be alright(: I am so grateful for this mission and this time in my life I have to learn and grow the the gospel, I have learned so much about myself and I know that no matter what we do, we need to always go through the lord first. Prayer has always been a huge part of my life.. I know that if we always Trust in the lord he will help us climb the mountains or do the little things.. I am so grateful to be able to feel of his love and his guiadance at this point in my life.. I know I still have one year left but I feel I have changed and have been very humbled. In whatever it is we do we needa trust in the lord.. I have so much trust in him and I know that he has that same trust in me, I will continue to do this work until my legs go out, and after that happens I will crawl haha.. I am so grateful for this privilege to be here.. I have been reading in Mormon and Moroni the last chapters in The Book Of Mormon. It talks about how much of studs the were.. Honestly if you get time you should read Mormon. Moroni is one of my hero's. It talks about when he witnessed his people become extinct and destroyed along with his father Mormon. But he kept writing and he knew the Lord entrusted in him this work.. His words are full of emotion.. I know that there aren't to many Moroni's but his example is something that we can all follow.. He always prayed to the lord and always put his turst in the lord. I am so grateful for all of you and for all that you do for me.. I know I can count on all of you(: Well there is my spiritual ramble for you all..(:

 

Well looks like we sure do have a new addition to the Petersen Family.. That's a sharp lookin truck, I dig it to be honest.. Looks perfect, has room and everything.. I sure miss drivin haha.. I wanna look for somethin like that, when my time comes to get on back. Ridge keep peelin out in the freakin Laser.. And watch out for the seat belts (: Well I can't wait to hear from you I hope you all have an excellent week.. The next time we talk we gonna be in JUNE!! Halfaway through 2013(: Well.. Well another week has come and gone just like that.. They all fly.. And that makes me happy(:

This week was awesome here in CHIAPAS! It's been hotter than Selena Gomez on a friday night.. Jk I don't even remember if she's hot. But it has been mighty hot here. But hey whatever.. I am happier than Kort Petersen on a summer night.. Happier than Ridge Petersen gettin 245 likes on his FB pic.. So all is well..

My B Day was alright.. It was just another day honestly.. It came and went but now I am tellin everyone that asks that I have 20 years(: Ha it's a weird habit I gotta get used to.. BUt yep one more year and I can drink apple juice. (Sparkled) 

How has life been up there in the USA(: Utah to be exact the best state of all that i miss so doggone much.. I hope this letter finds you all happy and healthy and oin work and takin names. I am so proud and blessed that I have each of you in my life. You are all examples to me in everything I do. School is windin down for my bro's and another Summer season is rollin in hot.. It is weird not bein there. But the next summer I will be flyin in hopefully before the 4th of JULY(: So it will be a good one.. Na but have fun this summer and be smart and safe(: I am with you in all that you do(: ... Stay away from the girls they carry cooties and you can die if you catch it.. It's bad. Well get weird and keep my dirt bike runnin.. I can't wait to go ridin with all of you when I get back! (: 

Well I am learnin so much here and I can't wait to share all the amazing. crazy. experiences with you when I get back.. Just know that I am always thinknin about you guys.. I'm with you errywhere ya go.. We are being blessed so much. Fight the good fight and keep the Faith(: Well I will be talkin to ya soon..
