2 Weeks Me Queda‏.... June 9, 2014

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmyello..

How fast is the time goin? Faster than a squirrel runnin up a maple tree in vermont. Thats how fast.. Holy tummy tuck.. I am so very glad for this time I have been given to be a missionary, I truly have learned so much.. And I am ready to see you all and ready to get home and start up the next mission.. I hope you are all great and smiling like horses.. I am, even tho I am fried, frito.. (sun burned) =) THis week was a good one.. We had two baptisms.. And they were two people that we found this transfer.. 2 Children of God that are way awesome!! Yuri is the girls and Arturo is the man boy. He is 13 but he is a big fellar.. It was awesome to help them and grow to love them and I know have 2 good friends..

I just wanna thank you all for your love and support.. You are what I am looking forward to see and You are all what give me strength to smile and to endure and fight..

I have learned so much and one thing that I learn more about with every week is, The Atonement of Jesus Christ... I know I can become a better me through it and the holy power it holds, I know he loves me.. I am grateful for my Savior.. I honor and love him. I am blessed for all of you and for the amazing life I have been blessed with..

 My Dear Family and Friends(: 

Hopefully this letter finds you all happy and loving life as it comes.. I sure do miss you all and love you and more than anything cannot wait to be seeing you.. It will sure be one amazing day to be reunited.. I am counting down the days until I can see you all.. And I know that you are all doing the same.. 

It was really crazy yesterday during testimony meeting when I was giving my testimony I realized it was my last fast testimony in the mission.. Haha as I stood up in front of everyone my flippin emotions got the best of me, and I was teary eyed the whole time.. I didn't cry! It was a really cool day and I am glad to be where I am at.. Everyone has been asking me if I am sad about going home and I kinda laugh like they are crazy haha.. I just tell them that my time has come to finish this mission, and start a new one haah.. I am beyond stoked to be with you all once again.. I tell everyone that I am excited to kiss girls again and they laugh, but I am serious.. (: But well all goes well here and I am just loving every single minute that goes by. YOKO. Hahah.. 

Ah man.. This week.. Hahah we went and did cement work at 7 in the morning until like 12 haha I know that's nothing dad, but good grief that work kicks your butt.. but it turned out way good.. And I was laughing at my comp cause I am pretty sure it was the first blister he had in his life haha he was telling everyone he couldn't shake their hands cause he was hurt ha was laughing so hard.. But yeah it was an awesome week FULL of service I loved it.. 

Well I am doing fine.. And all goes well.. Ha aha... Just cant wait to see you all..

HELLO! Well another week is in the books just doin work and its crazy how fat 2 weeks have gone by since I've been here.. Hahah I have 2 weeks in this area.. Blows my mind.. All goes very very well.. We have been finding new people to teach been doing a ton of service I think more than I have done in any other area in my whole mission.. I know that this transfer will be a very special one, cause it has been so far off.. #Pure.Imagination. #Willy.Wonka.. Hahah cant wait to watch that.  

This week I was amazed at how much I learned, more than anything how much I felt.. I'm truly exhausted physically and spiritually. hahah.. Its crazy.. I know with every beat of my heart that Jesus is the Christ, he is perfect.. He died, and he conquered death and rose again the third day.. He has a perfect and glorified body of flesh and bones.. I know he loves me even tho I am far from being what he wants me to be.. And above all I know that HE LIVES. 

Very grateful for these last few weeks.. Learning and loving it all.. Cant wait to be seeing you all so soon.. Gonna be one great day. Hahah only 4 more Sundays separate us from the old Airport..

Deja Vu Gettin Weird..‏ May 15, 2014

Good morning to you all!;) 

Its a overcast cool day here in in the capital of Chiapas.. The crazy city is taking some gettin used to again.. hahah And a crazy city in México at that.. :) It was a fast week full of a lil bit of everything.. I guess I will start off by sayin I had a great birthday! I ate like 5 cakes this past week.. Haha it has been cool walkin the same streets and seeing some of the same people I knew when I started about 2 años ago.. Been really cool.. I have seen alot of people that remember seeing me and its been honestly way cool.. Just gonna love these next 5 weeks i have left.. I cant believe thats all i have left hahah...

Well honestly just grateful for all that's going on.. This past week we also had a conference with Elder Johnson the seventy and he asked us a question.. He said.. "How many of you believe that before the end of the day, you can find a chosen son of god.." The conference was about faith, and the importance it really has in missionary work.. Well that night me and my companion found a kid his name is Carlos Arturo.. And he is our chosen one ha ha.. It was way cool to see what we can do with our faith.. He was way stoked to be able to talk to us.. He told us that he was always waiting feel the way he felt when we talked to him.. I couldn't believe what i was hearing....I was way emotional.. And it was seriously a very strong spirit that was felt with him.. And he has a Iphone so we get weird.. He went with us to church yesterday and was just way happy and chill.. Pretty cool.. 

My companion is a good kid.. Elder Lemus He is from Mexico City, He has 8 months in the mission.. And I get along with him really well.. He is really humble so that helps me be humble to haha All goes well and we are just gonna keep doin work.. I'm hopin I dont get to trunky.. hahah.. 

Well I am really grateful for all of oyu and your support.. I am sure it is really stratin to warm up there.. You cant imagine how excited I am to be comin home to you all and to summer and all the good stuff that I have missed o so much.. ;) We bout to just go head and #GET.WEIRD...........

FAST! TRANSFERS!‏ May 12, 2014

 

Well I just wanna start off by sayin good mornin and I don't have anytime.. I have to pack and be in the bus terminal really soon.. (: Today I am heading out to my last area!  will be doing some good ol work for 6 more weeks(: Really stoked for this opportunity to go back to my first area and work and understand everyone this time.. I know that Heavenly Father has plenty of work there prepared for me.. Voy a trabajar como un burro pues! Estoy bien animado.. I love you all And hope you have a great day! I am thinkin bout you! My o My (: We are in Mayo(:‏ May 5, 2014

Here that Hank... We are officially on the final countdown.. Holy canoli. I am just living it and loving it! It's going by so fast.. I am just workin hard and makin the most out of what I got..(: Pretty amazing.. Well, how are all of you? Things comin along with the water and everything? I was telling my companion that I cant wait to get back and just remember what it smells like up there! Hahaha.. I sure miss everything.. But all in good time.. (: Hahaha this week was really crazy!  Just glad we are in May now!

This is the last week in the transfers.. Monday is the day of transfers.. I have a very strong feeling that I am going to be leaving this transfer.. I will have one more area and one last companion.. I thinking Tuxtla again.. But I will let you all know for sure what goes down and what the Lord wants next Monday(: Just cant believe that I am gonna be entering my last 6 weeks of the mission!!!?? But it sure is time(: We are doing work and all is going well!! 

This Sunday we are gonna be SKYPIN! ! So stoked for that.. Gonna be good to see you all.. (: My goodness how the time goes.. I am thinking that I will be skypin you all at like 6! So that'd be 5 for you.. We can finalize the plans and all throughout the week.. I cant wait to speak awkward spanglish in front of you all yeahhah... Hahaha.. (: Gonna be muy shweeet.. Only got one question for you all.. Who´s ready to let the dogs out?..

May... Come on Down :D‏ April 28, 2014

Hello everybody(: Another week has passed us by.. Also another month is gone.. April wsa one special month in 2014 , one that I will never forget! I am blown away at that I only have 8 more weeks, It seems like a dream,.. Hahaha but I still have plenty of time "hechar ganas" (Do Work).. Pretty excited for the rest of the time and ready to see what it will bring.. I know that it's always so very important to have a spirit of Gratitude and a humble heart to grow.. All goes well here.. Been hotter than Jessica Alba on a Saturday night but I am sure grateful for all that I have been living. I realize that it is so very close to airport time.-. 

This week was really good and we are working hard! We had another baptism, and it was way cool to be apart of it! There is a lot of good people in this crazy place! Just gotta know where to look haha..

A really good guy that's from here is going to the good ol U.S.A tomorrow.. And he is going legally! hahaa there is sooooooooooo many people here that tell me about how they were in the USA illegally haha but this guy is a stud.,. He has two kids and his wife.. He gave a talk this last Sunday and I loved it.. He talked about the laws and ordinances.. And incorporated the good ol U.S.A in his talk  he is going to work in Mississippi for 6 months because he has a mango orchard that got robbed.. so he is going up north to make up for his money. I guess I just have a lot of respect for him cause he is leaving family and everything to go make up for what he lost.. And he is doing it all with order..  I told him we will have to go to general conference together cause he will be there till November.. 

Well me and my comp are workin a butt load.. Hahaah.. We are headed for Tuxtla today.. So that'll be good.. We will come home tomorrow.. Just gotta keep goin.. .. I just wanna tell you all thank you for your love and letters and prayers.. You are what keep me goin! I know that we are being watched over and protected.. I know that the lord knows us and wants what is best for us in all that we do.. Well, I guess I better be rollin out.. I sure hope that you can all have a great week!

TIME.....

MAY 13TH..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME :-)

Well this last week was truly beautiful! It was fitting everything that happened this past week and I am truly grateful for all the blessings I've received this past week.. Feel very blessed.. The mission has really taught me so very much and I know why I came here. Grateful for my Savior and his mission of perfection, and  his divine example.. It really has changed the outlook I have on everything in this life.. 

AMAZING PEOPLE.

This week was great. Love not expecting amazing things and then when they come after working and lots of help, it's a feeling that is truly beautiful.. We were able to have some baptisms this week, and the best part was listening to their testimonies.. 

I know I have learned so much through these amazing people here.. I know they have been put into my life for me to learn, Even though I was sent to teach them and help them, they have helped me more than I could ever imagine. 

GOOD.... GOOD PEOPLE

It was special hearing our investigadores each say, I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that he loves us.. It was truly a week to remember him and his life and his atonement and his Resurrection. Feel blessed and humbled to be apart of HIS work. 

I am grateful to be here! Times flyin.. T minus 9 weeks.  And bout to be huggin it out and gettin the BBQ all ready to smoke! (:

Well.....10 more weeks.... April 13, 2014

Hola to you all , Here we are again! I sure hope this letter finds you all happier than winning the jackpot in Wendover on a Thursday evening.. Times flying and I'm just getting closer and closer to seeing all of you. Really stoked bout that if I do say so myself..  Gonna be a hap hap reunion.. I'm gonna just be smilin like a giraffe.. I sure hope that you all are doin very good and that you're enjoying the weather up there! I'm doing fine, and I am enjoying the beans an rice down here! Seriously gonna miss fired bananas and rice and beans and butt load of stuff but thats just how it needs to be and gotta love it while ya gotta it..

We are workin really hard, my companion and I have been gettin along very good.. And we have been learnin a lot from the people here. Pretty beautiful how much the mission teaches ya.. All goes well here.. I think one cool experience I had this week would be when we helped a mom and her young sons get a long.. They were all fighting cause the dad just left. The sons were being really rebellious and we showed up at the perfect time.. I was really amazed at how much the Lord loves his children in that moment. I was reminded of how grateful I am to have such amazing wonderful people in my life.. And the blessing the gospel brings into this ol life of mine.. I know that its the true way to a life full of eternal happiness and pure JOY! 

Loving the mission and all the amazing experiences I have had.. It has made me a better person, I just am getting sick of people telling me I'm "Trunky" Just because I have 22 months in the mission.. I just smile and say "Sì pues," haha it means yeah right.. But they use it alot down here.. 

Well I am doing good and just want you all to know that I love you all so very much!  Be happy!

GRATITUDE :-) APRIL 7, 2014

Hey there(: I am glad to be here writing you all again! I can´t believe how fast the time is going! ! This week was a good one and I was really grateful to be able to watch all of General Conference. I felt a really special spirit, It was a spirit similiar to the one I feel when I think of being with all of you.. Maybe it's because I will be seeing you all in such a short amount of time.. But seeing the beautiful temple square and salt lake.. It made me realize how fast the time is passing here.. I will be flying in to good ol SLC before we know it.. I was really guided by all the amazing messages, and I will work hard to be puttin them into practice. I loved the talk of Elder Holland and his Charity message to all of us.. Like the prophet Moroni said, " therefore, without Charity ye are nothing." I can testify to these words. I know that our Father in Heaven loves us, Him and His Son Jesus Christ are our perfect examples.. I know we can always make a difference and I know with all my heart that through the small things we can make amazing changes.. 

I just want my two bro's to know Ridge and Kort.. That I love you and I am proud of all that your doin.. Keep on being you and being strong examples for all of those that surround you.. Keep it weird.. But not awkard.. Go head Lewis and Clark.. Bout to be washing that truck and sayin 2:40 and playin xbox 360 and goin fishing and jumpin dirtbikes like rabbits jump the ditches.. 

I am doing very good down here.. Just lovin the heat.. Hahah I honestly am glad I am able to be here and grateful for every single moment and breath that My loving Heavenly Father gives me.. It is all truly to make me better.. Just being humble is the key.. This mission.. México Tuxlta Gutierrez is the best mission for Elder Jaden Mark Petersen.. I know with all my heart that I accepted to come here before I was on earth.. I am thankful for what and who it's continuing to make me. 

Miss you all very much but I know that I will be with ya all so very soon.. Thanks for your help, for your examples and love and prayers.. Your all in my prayers.

Alrighty(: Good day (: How are you all doin? Hopefully that all is goin very well up there.. I cannot believe how fast how the time is passin us by! Goes by way to rapido.. I cant wait to see you all again.. It is so very doggone close. well here we are.. Just workin it out and gettin weird.. (Estoy soportando como un chango) Actin like a monkey! We had a really good week.. Another good month of hard work payed off! Lovin it..

This week we had a baptism.. And that made it all good! I am so very grateful for every moment.. Gettin better, and lovin every moment.. I feelin the time grow shorter and shorter but I know that Heavenly Father still has so much in store for me.. Gonna keep on marchin on! I am so very grateful for it.. 

Crazy to think that this transfer we will be talkin.. 6 weeks.. And I will be skypin you all once more.. (: I guess this week General Conference is comin in hot so it will be good too hear from the one and only Prophet Monson.. Really stoked! WATCH IT! 

Well nothin to new.. Sorry my letters are gettin short.. Just how time is I guess.. Flies.. 

I love you all.. I can tell you that.. Heavenly Father loves us.. No matter what we do or what we have done.. He is the Father of our Spirits.. This is his work.. Our Savior Jesus Christ completed his mission. And perfected the work and the glory of his Father.. I am so grateful to be in their work..
